Sorry second week went down to$1.39. The reason was demand and supply. Suddenly it is an excuse .What we really need to right to officials for investigation. The oil companies are making huge profit. That what people need to do and send congress who doesn't agree when election come back home.

Here in Canada the Anti-Freeze for the BMW's is $45+ 13% tax. This on account the aluminium is such it cannot withstand our regular stuff and it will attack the BMW alloys. Good luck buying German evn Mercedes-Benz after a few years are worth nothing here in Canada and are just rusting away.

The American car market reflected its true value to the producers when VW North America painstakingly punched us in the face over twelve months of delay in redirecting the TDI series into Euro markets because their demand was greater, or their profit was better, even with freight costs . . . Regardless of why, the fact remains: America has lost its big stick and we don't account for much in the New World Order.

I'm sorry, did I forget to mention we're sitting on scads of oil, an industry we developed from Spindletop to what it is today? 'Grow' more fuel too and stick it to Exxon while we're at it.

The biggest problem is greed and U.S. automakers not really caring about the consumer. But it is also our problem because the consumer for years bought huge trucks, SUV's and sport cars that were not fuel efficient and were way too expensive. I just hope that we can produce fuel efficient vehicles before gas is $10.00 a gallon.
