I have a I Phone 3g 16 gig and have problems getting some of the applications. They say "not applicable for this I Phone". What is the deal? For instance Face Book is one of those apps.

I have a friend who lives in Asia who wants an iphone. The question is since at&t has the phone service can a person living in Asia get an iphone that will work over there and if so what carrier would they use.

The Apple web site now shows virtually all U.S. Apple stores have iPhone 3g models available, the AT&T stores I've checked with are still taking orders for later delivery.

With 22 countries receiving iPhones simultaneously (or very shortly) and a total of 72 countries coming on for distribution (including India and China) in the coming weeks and months, iPhones sales in the last quarter of Apple's FY and into FY 2009 will be HUGE!

Why are all the analysts’ sales projections for iPhones so conservative?

I think all the complaining needs to stop I have a first gen iphone and I love it. Tech is always changing and we should be glad of that I will wait for the better upgrades that will probably come in the next gen of the iphone and until then I will enjoy the updates to my first gen iphone. But I do wish they would make an iphone with no camera since I have a Top Secret job and cannot bring a camera phone so that is my only complaint. I know it can be removed but the hole is still there and try explaining that to a Marine with a gun. :)

I've had my iPhone since November and I LOVE IT!!! Sure, GPS would be nice, but the map feature seems to take care of what I need. I plan on using the one I have until it just can't be updated anymore. By then, Apple will (hopefully) added multimedia texting, text forwarding, etc... And as many have stated, electronics are updated ALL THE TIME! Cameras, TVs, Computers, cell phones, iPods, you name it...are ALL outdated before you even learn how to use all the "bells & whistles" of what you just bought. Suck it up...be happy with what you have or upgrade & hush!
