This one-time fave of momentum traders has seen its share price plunge by 86% over the last six months alone.
I'm a stout little grandma with small feet and my Crocs accentuate that, but in this day and age of ceramic or tile flooring everywhere, I love wearing my stout, ugly/cute little Crocs!

They are the ONLY shoes I like to wear because they are so comfortable, and they don't cause my back to hurt wearing them. I also got my husband a pair and he loves them.

I don't wear anything else. They have different styles now, not all the same original ones that everyone thinks is ugly, some are very cute. I stand upwards of 13 hours a day at work and until I got Crocs my back and knees used to hurt all the time. Not anymore. Now my legs feel like they still have something left in them to keep going at the end of the day. I think Crocs should make a running shoe! BTW, the off brands are not made of the same materials and are not nearly as comfortable. If you just pay a little extra you can get the real deal, it is worth it.

Whether it's fair or not - Crocs have been singled out for the escalator safety issue. Japan may imposed trade restrictions.

They lost their patent lawsuit against a major knock-off competitor - Holy Soles out of Canada.

Several class action investment lawsuits against the company and insiders for the Oct selloff are still pending - probably settlements, maybe even fines by the SEC.

Closed the Canadian manufacturing plant - meaning if the sales eventually pick up, growth maybe limited by production capacity.

Still over 100% above what should be regular inventory levels.

Finally, management is under serious watch -- a shake-up in management could be looming if the downward slide is not fixed in the next quarter.

Me -- not a fan, personal reasons and b/c I know too much about the company - who, what, where, when, and how. I've seen how it grew, exploded, changed and sank. Kind of expected. Too many unknowns and hurdles in the near future to consider buying for short or long. Thankfully, I didn't own and I'm not stuck holding the bag now.

Tennis shoes used to be the thing that was caught. I can see how Crocs would be a bigger hazard simply because they have a softer shell that will allow the elevator skirt to grab it easier. Children love to place their shoe up against the shirt to make the shoe "squel." This is a very dangerous practice, but one likely to continue. In addition, the point where the escalator ends is another point that catches shoes. If the comb is broken, it can easily grab a small shoe and pull it into the escalator. Always step off the escalator and stand in the middle of it. Hold your kids in front of you instead of to the side. There is also an emergency stop at the top and bottom of every escalator. Hit the emergency stop if you ever see someone in trouble. This problem is not isolated to Crocs, but I think Crocs are more susceptible to this problem than most other shoes due to their soft pliable nature and the fact that they are often worn by children.
