So, what's the evidence? The market itself.
WE MUST START BUYING AMERICAN PRODUCTS SOLELY. Let's not let GM go down. Tell them what we want: HIGH mileage small cars - solar panels on them, electrics, hybirds - all at the same time. GM still thinks we want BIG. Get going GM.

BUT WITH ALL THIS KNOWLEDGE AND CAPABILITY WHY CAN'T AMERICANS PAY THEIR CREDIT CARDS AND LIVE WITHIN THEIR MEANS?

All of this knowledge and capability says that they will buckle down and unite and change bad policies to regain their position in the world.

A smart man can always make something good come from a bad thing, so after this hardship has been overcome perhaps new credit policies will be instituted to prevent a future occorence. It wil indeed be tragic if this does not happen!

How do they come out of this situation in a short period of time will determine if a bottom is made. Higher commodity prices and a weaker dollar don't bode well for equities in the near term. A near term recession may prove to be lengthy and that may keep our consumer from fueling the economy. If we indeed have not made a bottom depression will be the moniker not recession. The present administration doesn't heed the hue and cry of its citizens. There legacy will be one of a wrecked economy that got that way by their ineptness and there lust of greed for a few.

Hillary is going to create millions and millions of real HIGH PAYING jobs. I'm sure she already has job positions ready for all the troops she'll bring home from Iraq. I am so confident that Hillary will get oil down to $20.00 a barrel on day one!! Iran will bow at her feet and shut down their nuclear program. EVERY American will have a new home with nothing down and no monthly payments. In the second Billary administration the dollar will strengthen so much the it WILL be the envy of the economic world. ARM mortgage crisis? What crisis. We still have plenty of paper to print money on.

REAL WORLD???? We haven't a clue how deep the well we're falling into is. Anyone foolish enough to believe the markets are stabilizing needs to come look at the block after block of empty homes we have. Look down the malls where no one is buying. Look at the price of gas at your nearest station. Look at the Fed manipulating investors with pipedreams of a better day tomorrow. Over my ASS!
