The vast majority of the people have NO capability to advance their welfare no matter how hard they work or even if they try to start a business. We have virtually NO upward mobility--odds not much better than the lottery.

Hearing the rich complain about "unfair" taxes is like hearing a rapist complain about the quality of sex they are getting from the woman they are raping.

Even Adam Smith (author of "Wealth of Nations") wrote that those who can more easily afford taxes should pay a greater share.

Instead of spending money on those that stripped our 401k's etc, and lied to us.

If they did this we would have no recession or unemployment problems

Besides stating the obvious to many, he seems to have an argument with himself as to whether he supports the Obama Administration and the economics of Keynes or is genuinely concerned about the future of the economy due to the threat of increased inflation.

Whichever it is Warren, another stimulus is not the answer. The man you supported for the White house has frittered away the first stimulus of .8 trillion dollars to pay his supporters, ie ACORN and the unions (saving? GM and Chrysler), with no beneficial affect on the economy or the rest of society. More of the same, I do not think so.

You have been a smart investor and I have owned your stock....But I am wondering if you are starting to lose it when you advocate debt for the government, but you would be horrified with an equal percentage if it were on your balance sheet

Demand for goods and services stimulate business to spend money and create new jobs. The consumer engine that drives the economy will not run without jobs.

Simply say "No more foreclosures". The money used to stop the foreclosures would be repaid, when the house eventually sold, with interest. This would have saved the banks, the neighbors who paid cash for their home and watched investment cut in half, and the tax payer who would have recovered their investment. Giving the money to the banks, who played a large greedy part in the problem in the first place, has not helped anything. It is almost impossible to get a loan modification because of the drop in value of housing.
