Ford had already killed the car when Mulally joined the company in 2006, but he brought it back, reports The Wall Street Journal . First off the name was ruined when they made that spaceship looking mid 90's ugly ass taurus that was really popular for some unknown reason, probably because the people who buy ford are retarded anyway. The only thing they make worth the money is their trucks. No boby can beat an F-Series! As for cars, buy a freaking japanese (or even a freaking korean) car that will last until you have grandchildren and buy two, cause it will still only cost you $26-$40k for two of them!!

I hate ford, gm, and chevrolet cars. the only thing that american automakers can do well is build trucks. period. and if you dont NEED to have a truck then drive a freaking car that gets 30+ per gallon and stop wasting gas for no reason!!

Anyone who rags about this car simply doesn't know anything about it. It is not like any other Taurus. It is not like any other Ford! This car uses many new technologies not even used in the Lincolns yet. Take this car around the block and then try to tell me that you don't like it. The EcoBoost engine is one of the best engines you will ever use. It has already won many engineering awards. Match that up with Fords new 6 speed tranny - and you are in cruise control nirvana. Speaking of cruise control, it automatically adjusts to the car ahead of you, and you can even set the distance between the two cars. I too was skeptical about the new Taurus, and was about to order a new 2010 Milan, but now I am seriously considering getting the Taurus Limited instead. This car is simply amazing. I read a review about it last week and they were NOT pro-Ford but they still said they loved the new Taurus, even more than the Lexus and BMW's. Spend 5 minutes in the car, do a little research and you'll too see how truly incredible the new taurus is. With all of the new technology in this car it will easily win car of the year. Ford just needs to lower the price a little, especially in this economy.
