is a golden parachute (first class golden ticket) to the unemployment line.

Isn't that what corporate america has done to overpaid employees when

they want to get their budgets down to keep their salaries and jobs?

I vote no bailout money should go to the executives in form of a compensation

package, that should bring the $700billion dollar bailout down some.

If the government inisists on spending this money, then let them divide the

money to the average american joe struggling to make ends meet on a regular

There should be a tag on this money that they spend it in the USA NOT MEXICO,CHINA OR JAPAN

Lawmakers,(our chosen) ask yourselves...who's your daddy?! Is it John & Jane Doe on mainstreet or Dow Jones of wallstreet! I've heard more than a few comments made about salary/compensation. 'Look at pro athletes'! Only a handful of pro athletes receive tremendous pay compared to the total number of pro athletes. GET it Straight! The thousands of companies' executives which have public/semi-public exposure in the wallstreet game need to be brought back into balance with John & Jane's reality on mainstreet. It, exec comp, trumpets a time when kings and lords ruled everyman. Today, at this moment of our American history, can't our 'chosen' representatives raise their ire to fever pitch and tell wallstreet 'no more'!!! No More un-fair / un-balanced / un-unfit rules meant to keep your workers paid as low as possible so that you can take home as much as possible!

When those from that street named WALL say, 'stockholders of a publicly traded company always have a say about their corporations boardmembers/executives pay', understand this..ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE MAJORITY CONTROL/AMOUNTS OF SHARES, either singularly or in consort with other large shareholders, WILL DETERMINE THEIR OWN COMPENSATION! NOW is the time for mainstreet to press our 'chosen' representatives to stand up for us!

The Presidential candidates talk about "Middle class"...there is no middle class; we went broke trying to support the rich, the poor, and illegal. Not only are these CEO's laughing at our stupidity but they are on multiple boards of other companies collecting salaries and stock options. The American Peole need to send a message loud and clear that this is not acceptable. We are a country divided and it's time for unity. We don't have any outstanding Presidential candidates and it will be four more long years.

"There is something wrong in America. We the People of These United States have no representation in Washington"

This money will get sucked up by the banks, both here and abroad. It simply just buys a little time. I see that we are already in a recession...there's no doubt about it. We always seem to play right into the fear tactics and lies of politicians. When are we going to stand up and do something about it? The greatest threat to this world is the depletion of our resources and yet we just let this happen. If I were going to spend $700B, I would spend it on saving the environment, by stopping deforestation, cleaning the earth, and limiting our consumption of the resources. We have to learn how to live with less. We here in the US are the biggest hoarders of the resources. Dont you want to leave anything to future generations....your kids, grandkids and alike?

Get involved...join an evironmental group...buy from environmental friendly companies, and most of all voice your anger at your government representative.
