The decision of the Saudis has a long term benefit for the oil industry since lower oil prices will reduce the desire by none oil producing countries from pursiung alternate source of energy.

Good News. Hugo Chavez is a wind bag and Iran is not a legitimate Gov't. Still need to get of our oil dependence. Go nuclear power, the French have had much success with this technology and we need to get over our phobia.

The United States should not be reliant on OPEC in the first place. This way we don't have to rely on Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran, or even attack Iraq to ruin our economy. If America would not need OPEC, why would we need to attack Iraq in the first place and spends billions of dollars in that country?

Saudi Arabia in my opinion, cannot and should not be trusted . . . Oh yeah, where is Osama bin Laden from?

Yes, the Saudi's sell the most oil worldwide, I hate to break this to all of you, but our #1 importer of oil is Canada (not an OPEC country). If you expect $1 a gallon anytime soon, guess again. This will have almost no effect on fuel prices.

One more reason opec will fail, they still don't get it. When you are truly united, you succeed. U.S, E.U, even former U.S.S R for a short time. Opec, Arab league, Organziation of Islamic Conference, not united, cant succeed, What a bunch of dopes! Thanks though, Ill start driving more!
