Recent economic weakness helped, as quick-service restaurants took advantage of newfound frugality and curtailed visits to sit-down restaurants

re: Burger King's turnaround in danger

Our BK's in our area are great! There is a tremendous pride in their management, employees and the quality of their food. These restaurants take pride in their image, are always clean and their service is always fast. McDonald's around here is good but their food taste fake compared to Burger Kings. Furthermore, the Burger Kings always help out when there is a need in the community. McDonalds will not.

I do not know where all of you live but by me, McDonalds SUCKS!!!! There might be one or two McDonals that are descent, and that is only if it doesn't take fie minutes to get the one item I ordered. Their fries are soggy and greasy, and since I work in quick service myself I know when fries sit there for over ten minutes and when they have been double dunked and so on... And who wants salted burgers... Around my neck of the woods, Burger King is way better. Smiles, laughing, having a good time working is what I want to see, who wants to go into a rest. to find grumpy people and all serious, I will go sit in a law office for that. Burger King is cleaner (down at the details) I know people who work or worked at both BK and McDonalds, and none of the BK employees ever found black mold all hidden away, you know like in soda machines where the customers can't see. And around here all the fried food tasted GREAT at all my local BK's (until everyone had to switch to no trans fat, yuk) if I am going to eat fried food obviosly i'm not looking for healthy. But that is our Government not BK's fault.

BK has plenty of LONG term employees, I personally know people who have been employed there 20+ years, its a matter of personal choice, if you are going to make it and if you have the will and desire, just like everywhere else.

And as far as the King goes, if any of you who are slandering the King have EVER taken a class on advertising or marketing, you would know that it is not always if someone like the ad, loves the ad, or hates the ad, it is all about remembering the company name. When you see the King pop up on a commercial, do you say, omg another BK commercial, if so, guess what, they got you to remember the name. And thats all its about.

Their original chicken sandwich is juicy, fresh and hot. The fries are great, not greasy. I enjoy the Burger King Rest. I visit every week. The people who work there are friendly and I can see that they take pride in their work because the restaurant is always clean and the condiment station filled. I have been there different times of the day and it's always the same.

The price is right, the people are Great and the food is awesome.

If you have a problem, address it to the local manager/operator/owner and then draft a complaint to the BK Corporate operation. I assure you, you WILL get a reponse. Likewise with Micky D's, Wendys, KFC, Pizza Huts, Taco Bells, etc. Address the problem where it wil do the most good, not just slam them all. That is pretty stupid of how the chain truely works. Many fail because of dumb/poorly managed operations on the local level

Some are merely "investments" made by an individual or a group that has no more of an idea of how to manage and operate resturant anymore than run an auto parts store.
