&lt;p&gt;Prices are going to go up. Life sucks, wear a helmet and be happy for what you have instead of wasting time debating a 9 cent increase on food that&amp;#39;ll for SURE take years off your life (especially if you eat enough of it to care about 9 cents per order rofl)&lt;/p&gt;

I&amp;#39;m a manager and am fully aware that this piece hits close to home. What many people forget is that the 1$ items for most of these QSR&amp;#39;s are break even or losing propositions. Since they&amp;#39;re corporations they&amp;#39;re responsible for seeing the company make a dividend, and increasing the prices of shares. Price increases are inevitable. &lt;/p&gt;

That would help so much, but I&amp;#39;ve asked and there&amp;#39;s no leeway. I would pay $1.09 for the current dollar menu, it&amp;#39;s not that big of a deal.&lt;/p&gt;
