Duid you ever think about not charging people to shop at your store? i never really copuld see why you have to pay to buy food and things.

everyone is going to do what they want anyway. the gov. is not going to change over night and things have to get bad before they get better. It does no good to complain just do what you have to do to provide for yourself and your family.

Obviously none of you lived through the depression. I actually had that experience in the 30's when food was rationed and you only received one tire a year for your car and two pairs of shoes per year. Regardless of how much money you had, you were only alotted so much in sugar and other necessities. I know most of you might call "BS" on this but you need to wake up and start looking at whats taking place around you. I also seen the run take place on the banks....one day people had money and the next day you didn't and there was no warning. I seen a lot of people go hungry and that is when the population was only about one quarter of what it is today in the US. Wake up America

deadly riots that's what gonna happen here too since we are not speaking out about every thing from Gas now Food scared these gaint Corporations making very good money out of it look @ there last quater profits and we people just paying what ever they asked for it,we are the one who create this mess we enjoyed with huge Monster type SUV's when Gas was reachable to all now I see Tiny Honda Fit And Chevy Aveno every where we did not realize on that time that it will hurt all.

I don't know where you got your info from but the stimulus payment will not affect how much of a refund you get or taxes you owe come next April 15th!!

I've stopped driving in every instance where I can get away with it. My monthly gas bill is 30$ I turn off air conditioning and drop the heat to 50 as my husband and I are both gone 9-10 hours a day working. We grocery shop only with a list and purchase only what's on the list. We're doing a lot more cooking. I purchase

"used" whenever possible. I read used books. We cut our monthly newspaper bill down by getting weekend delivery only. We do have a basic cable, phone and internet package which saves us a lot because our grown kids don't live in the same town but we can talk for free. We no longer go out because it's just not cost effective. We can watch tv or a movie at home and fix a great meal together. I can go on and on but I think you get the picture. It's not about simply saving money and it hasn't been for along time. It's about survival.

big box stores are rationing rice because the small store mom and pop owners and restaurants have discovered it's cheaper and buy it up in huge quantities; i.e. witness the shoppers with 4 wheel carts piled high with quanties of an item. you know they are re-selling them for a higher price in their stores or restaurants. i can't blame all the high prices for groceries on the economy, the truckers, the gas prices, etc. i feel that the grocery chains are uping their prices , joining the parade and making a few extra dollars profit from us consumers shopping in their store. we used gas to get to their store so we are going to shop there--kind of a captive audience--rather than go from store to store picking up sale items. they count on us buying even if it's a little more than the other store. i don't think grocery stores are going to go out of business or bankruptcy anytime soon--they are profiting from all of this. i'm growing my own veggies and baking my own breqad--to bad our HOA won't allow us to have a cow on our property otherwise we could have our own milk - ha.

Corporations, and a president that is making government more inept has ruined all that used to be good in this country. We need to stand up to the idiots. Profit and greed DO NOT come before the good of all. We are all in this together. Wake up people. How much is enough.
