I took second place at a costume contest. The difference between mine and first? His was professionally made, hand-tailored, and cost nearly a thousand dollars. Mine was from this-and-that that I picked up at various dollar stores. Total cost, twelve bucks, including the curtain rod I used as a scepter.

I did indeed buy a pregnancy test at the Dollar Tree and I used the ovulation kits too. I had no trouble with them and they cost 1 dollar - shows you the profit margin the big stores are making.

I go to the dollar store for pet food. Not a dollar but at 5.00 for a box of Bentiful it still is a lot cheaprer than Wallmart. Cereal is 2.00 cheaper and the same amount of oz. in the box. They have brand names and their name. I love the dollar store. We have a new one and I could not wait for it to open. Dee

Buying underware at the Dollar Store is smart. also, Dollar stores are cheaper then Walmarts when it comes to oral hygiene products and makeup. Name brand doesn't always mean a quality product, but I've found many name brands at the Dollar Store without the name brand price found elsewhere.

Greeting cards are great and you can also get mylar balloons!!! All for a dollar! I love the dollar stores. In los Angeles they have the 99 cent stores, they even sell produce.

A toilet bowl cleaner called The Works gets out stains nothing else would, their drain cleaner clears clogged drains for a buck, why pay 3.99 at wal-mart? If you're broke and need batteries for your remote a buck works and they last for 3 months! Reading glasses a buck that's all I could afford and they work great (bought 3 pairs!) I love the dollar store! Just keep in mind to compare prices at wal-mart, clorox cleaner, suave shampoo and the anti bacterial hand cleaners are actually about 8 cents cheaper, hey every penny counts! .........AND it's a great place for Birthday and Christmas kids gifts, you can even get dish towels and pretty packaged note and envelope paper for adults! MOST ARE SEASONAL so shop early and stash! (each store is different of items they carry)

if the people in the third world countries didnt have the low pay jobs, they would have nothing and starve to death! A low pay job is better than no job no matter where you live. cant live on unemployment forever.

I shop at all of the dollar stores, D Tree,D General & family D. U get more for your money. The dollar tree is the only store where everything is a dollar.

I shop at the dollar tree all the time. If I need something I will check the dollar tree stores first. Hate WalMart stores. They haven't ran the dollar tree stores out of town yet.
