  By nature, I accumulate stuff.

  Three years ago, my office was pristine. Everything was organized, everything had its place, there were no papers strewn about, and there was order in the world (with world peace and the abolishment of hunger mere moments away).

  But, as the weeks passed and entropy worked its magic, my office became more and more chaotic. I never lost anything, but anyone walking into it would be amazed that I could ever find anything. It was organized chaos.

• Devil's advocate: It's OK to ignore your problems

  I must confess that for the past month our budget has flown out the window. I have not even done the math to see the damage yet. I'm avoiding it because I know it will be ugly.

  I read the statement above at A Penny Closer, and it's something we see quite often --ignoring your problems. Now, you might jump to your feet and scream, "Ignoring your problems won't make them go away!" or something else equally petulant, but before you do, I want you to hear me out.
