When it comes time to order pizza, it pays to check the Internet for deals before you dial. In fact, you can often order online. Yes, it's cheaper to make your own pizza at home, but sometime you just don't have time.

Several pizza chains have coupons online all the time, once you enter your ZIP code. You can also sign up to receive additional deals and coupons via e-mail.

Pizza Hut, for example, is offering a large pizza with up to three toppings for $10.99, or $4 off two medium pizzas in our neighborhood. Click on Save Money with Online Deals toward the bottom right of the page to find the place to enter your ZIP and get the deals for your area.

Papa John's is offering the same deal, a large pizza with up to three toppings for $10.99 or three mediums with up to three toppings for $21, or $7 each. Click on Menus and Specials to find deals in your neighborhood.

Domino's also has a collection of coupons online, including one for three medium one-topping pizzas for $5.55 each.

Little Caesars, which hires people to stand in the street hawking its deals, offers a large 14-inch pepperoni or cheese pizza for $5 each in some areas, no coupon required. You can also use this coupon to get an order of crazy bread with sauce for carryout for $1.99, a savings of 50 cents.

Deals may vary by store, so be sure to check your location before you go.
