We're all for you making some extra income, so we're directing you to an innovative tool on the Internet. ParkatmyHouse.com could help you earn some cash from that underused part of your real estate known as the driveway.

This British-based Web site has recently expanded its service to the good old USA.  ParkatmyHouse.com connects people who need a place to park with those whose driveways or garages sit empty.

Your driveway is well-placed for this service if you live near a transportation hub, a stadium or some other popular destination where available parking is limited. You and the space renter work out the price, and you pay a 10% commission to the Web site. A separate fee is charged when you use the site to actually sell a parking location.

Founder Anthony Eskinazi came up with the idea when he was searching for a parking spot before a Giants game in San Francisco.

ParkatmyHouse.com was the second-place winner in Yahoo's Innovative Finds of 2007 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The first-place winner, British site moveme.com, provides free help with details like switching your mail and utility service when you change your residence.

Good find indeed. I work from home and my truck sits idle 80-90% of the time. What i want to know is, "How do i make money with my vehicle"?

Great idea, wish I had thought of it. So simple and so useful!

wow, that is a GREAT idea!

We have a concrete pad next to our garage and our next door neighbor is going to move his classic truck from a place he was storing it, store it at our house for less, and work on restoring it.  It's a win-win situation: he can now have it right at his house to work on, and I make a little extra money!

does it really work in 3rd world country because we need a good source of income too.we only at the mercy of god.

You could post a sign up that says park your car here for flat rate , example $6.00-$8.00 per car, that's how they do it in san diego when there is an event or people just need to park, If you do it that way you must put a time limit on how long the car can park, say up to 1 hour anything past that is an additional $1.50-$2.00 per hour.
